Your first report

Let’s create a simple page with a relevant Xray report:

• Head over to your Confluence instance

• Edit or create a page in which you will add your first Xray report

• Click on Insert element on the top right of your screen

• Xray Reports adds 6 new macros to Confluence with name:

  • Overall Test Results

  • Tests by Type

  • Test Coverage

  • Tests List

  • Test Runs List

  • Traceability

• Search for one of the listed reports above and add the macro.

  • Tip: Type “Xray Reports“ and all the macros will appear.

• Or you can also user the shortcut to add macros by writing “/“ and the name of the macro. In this case, you need to write “/Xray“ and get all the macros provided by Xray Reports.

• The first time you add the Xray Reports macro, you must allow access to the Jira instance, on your behalf.
  
  

• Edit the page and click on the macro and edit to show the right panel.

• Once you fill the necessary fields the report will appear

Congratulations, you’ve just added your first Xray report to your documentation !
